Lazy Sunday

The previous evening’s revelry with Billy and Friends left me with quite the headache this morning. However, we still took the time to make a nice scoot through the park in the wonderful weather. After getting home, I promptly caught up on a few emails, took some Ibuprofen, and settled down on the couch to watch “Princess Mononoke.” I think I’m going to go to bed now.

As I post this comment, it is Saint Patrick’s Day. A day for all good Orange Irish (Orangemen)to revel in the fact that they are not green, moldy, gangrenous, deterierating, bile-pucking (also greenish) Irish folk. I could add some religious issues, but shall refrain. We, of the House of Orange, are indeed modest, kind, balanced, verbose, and all things noble. We are able to pontificate at a moments notice (or less) on any given subject for any length of time until lesser folk wander away in a daze, amazed with jaws agape at our knowledge and ability to articulate the slightest nonconsequential point.

Yes, we do prevail. And, my son, the force (I’ll call it the orange “zest”)is strong in you and your brothers. Wield your zest as you would a shillelagh and be proud! Proud, I say! It’s the Kelley way!

The zest is alive, fear thee not. I wore my most orange pair of boxer shorts today, and scowled at all those who defiled themselves with greenness. Now I’m going to dye some beer orange (its already sort of orange, so thats easy), and enjoy it.
