You are a bad mom. I don't feel one bit guilty for throwing up on you when you'd eat horseradish before nursing me.

AaaaH, breasts. A subject close to my heart. I have no clue about the book, although it does sound interesting. Breasts are interesting unto themselves. A beloved ex-sister-in-law of mine always said I was the only female she knew who needed a concave bra...it was true. My mother MADE me start wearing shirts in the summer when I was around 11 or 12....just because..I didn't understand why cuz I didn't have anything to cover up... I went topless skiing at Sun Valley Idaho once and nobody noticed..sigh.. When I was pregnant with Sam, some older ladies told me how sad it was I would never be able to breast feed cuz my breasts were just too small....I showed them, my mammaries came to the fore as needed and Sam fed for three long years...I won't comment any further on THAT (maybe later) even though I could.... OK, OK, you want more now..."mother, I sure would like to breast feed for just a bit. Is this a convenient time for you? Here, let me help you with your buttons and shirt." At least he didn't need to come home for lunch when he went to college.

Sam, sometime you'll need to get your grandmother to tell you the joke about the rosebuds and the hanging baskets. It's a good one, and it makes her blush just a bit. Sorry I didn't stick with the main topic of the book itself, but after all, I am your mother and I have a mission. Madalene will understand when I say....Here's to Cyn and Ann!!!

Good luck finding the book, by the way.

Marvellous research exercise. It's not by any chance : "The Breast Book: An Intimate and Curious History"? If not, try the page for that at Amazon, there are similar books linked from it.

After trying every crafty trick that came to mind, I tried googling "amazon breast photos" for the sheer hell of it - the first word should have made things interesting at least. That yielded the above, first hit (safe search off).

I also discovered Inga Muscio memorable book title...

I'm a long time internet user, I know where to find porn. ;)

But if you think that any time you have a photo of the human body, it is pornography, then I pity any women in your life who are just objects to you. The book isn't erotic or anything, its just photography, and stories about the lives of women.
